I'm intresting for the Horizon View project, and want to import to our company to used, but now I'm faced some problem in testing phase.
it will be show an error message "untrust view connection" when I try to click "connect" on ipad Horizon view client and can not to continue.
please reference attached picture. anybody can help me to solve the issue? thanks in advice.

we're already using route based on IP hash! I have other installs the same as this that all work, except this is the first ESXi 5.1. Am patching the host and will see what happens...

Which content are you using?
The content for vSphere 4.1 has 2 parts to it, UNIX and vSphere. Most of the data is collected through vCenter Server. However, for the UNIX based rules you would need to install and configure the agent on each of the ESX hosts. Please refer documentation for more details on how to configure ESX 4.1 hosts for collection.
For vSphere 5.0 and above content, you need to configure collections from vCenter. There are some Windows based rules as well that require you to install Windows agent on your vCenter Server. Thats all!
It is recommended to use package collection filter set for collecting the needed data for Hardening Guidelines.

I think by using existing database on vCenter installation, we are able to keep previous data.
It could be done with a single virtual switch because the vlan tags are assigned at the vm port group or vmkernel port - so you could have a single switch with multiple port and port groups - you will need to ensure the physical swotch is configured approruately with trunk port for all the vlans -
With that said best practice would be to seperate the vswitches with seperate functionality - so one switch for management, production and uat and IP based storage if you have it - if you do not have enough nics then can reduce the number of vswitches
Ok, so if I want to run the ESXi 5.0 Hardening guidelines against my ESXi hosts, do I need to configure an Agent Proxy?
And when I do a collection of Machine Data, do I only collect from the vCenter server itself? The reason for the question is even though all of my hosts are showing up in "Licensed Servers", only 1 of the hosts is getting data collections.
So how should I properly configure my hosts so that when I run a collection, or run the template, all data can be extracted from them to look at the Hardening Guide compliancy?
If you work for VMware, is there a way to setup a Webex with you?
Please open a ticket with GSS and they should be able to help you directly in configuring your systems and resolving the issue around why the data is not getting collected on other hosts.
We have multiple AD Forests with multiple instances of vCenter Servers. We are looking at having a single sign one experience where in we can use single set of credentials to manage all these Virtual Environments. Can we point all these vCenter Servers which are part of different AD Forests to one SSO server? if not is there a better way of doing this.
Would federating each of these AD Forests help in anyway? Is Web Client in vCenter 4 SAML aware?
I've got an esxi 4.1 server which was merrily running a few vm's until its array controller hiccuped. Now, esxi boots up fine, but when i connect with the vsphere client it has the message 'The VMWare ESX Server does not have persistent storage'. This is an older hp DL380 G4 with local attached scsi storage, standalone server.
When i try to add storage and select the existing disk, it errors with 'the selected disk already has a VMFS Datastore. Select another disk'. There is no other disk. But the datastore isnt mounted and i cant see the vhd's.
I've tried booting up the system with a linux live CD and fuse-vmfs tools. Debugvmfs results in
VMFS Volinfo: invalid magic number 0x00000000
VMFS: Unable to read volume information
Trying to find partitions
Unable to open device file/file "/dev/cciss/c0d0p3
Am i completely hosed here, or is there a way i can recover the vhd's for any of hosts? Not the end of the world, but there are some things i'd like to get back.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Just got this 100% CPU usage after I change my drive to SSD. I assigned 2 CPUs to guest OS and it got even worse. Rebooted my Mac on another disk (not SSD) and ran Fusion 2.0, opened the guest OS residing in the SSD and everything was fine.
Rebooted Mac again on SSD and booted guest OS with 2 CPU assigned. This time Windows 2003 pop up a message that drivers where installed for new hardware (I guess for the 2nd CPU), press OK to restart. After reboot, it's OK. Strange. I'll switch this back to 1 CPU next time and see what happens, it could be VMware Tools since I have other guest OS (Fedora, CentOS) that does not behave this way, but I don't have VMware Tools installed on those. My Mac is at 10.6.8.
I'm running storage-cert50, when it test to VMFS_Spanning fail. And I have no idea about it.

Now I want to write a OQL on this object. But i get a result undefined when I write query as:

Exception is: Unknown Result Type .
Same query works if my Object structure has only one list<Object>: i.e.

Select * from /ExampleRegion er, er.myNewObject -- will work perfectly.
Any solution to this issue. Am I doing somethign wrong?

There is one way but you may or may not like it. If you switch to lfull screen mode you wont' get the message. This is a very poor workaround.
