  Hi Mike,

Much appreciated on your response.

I do have some screen shots showing this SIMPLE configuration.

Please note that before I would post help, I try my best to review, over and over my setup and troubleshoot to the best of my knowledge.

Although sometimes, I may have over look something that makes this setup not work.

Attached are screen shots of the configuration.

1.  Screenshot 1 is the layout showing the problem where in win7 (guest machine) is placed on the second switch which from the outside is a Valid Network where my SBS2011 network is in place.

2. Screenshot2 shows that the guest machine (win7) cannot aquire an IP nor should you provide a static IP, still cannot resolve outside.

3.  Screeshot3 shows the network adaptor able to determine the IP range (correctly) on the  second physical router.

4.  Screeshot4 & 5 shows that when you transfer the guest machine (win7) to the first network, it can quickly resolve to an IP.

This also proves that there is no issues on the guest machines configuration.

I heard some bugs on the ESxi 5 version ( http://vmtoday.com/2012/02/vsphere-5-networking-bug-2-affects-management-network-connectivity/) but I would assume that the 5.1 version should have fix this issues. Also, this should be a common simple setup for a regular network environment having to use the physical network card to connect to a differnt network.

Thank you again for looking into this.

-Jeff
